925 sterling silver brings weight and character, worn on its own or finished with 2.5 microns of 18k gold vermeil. Our clear e-coating adds extra protection against tarnishing. A little gentle care keeps both finishes looking their best.
A little care goes a long way
- Give your silver or gold vermeil piece a light wipe with a plain, soft, dry cloth after wearing. Easy does it.
- Fragrance and lotions first, jewellery last. Let everything dry before putting your piece on.
- Give it its own spot in a dry pouch or lined box. No wrestling match with your keys.
- Keep the cleaning gentle: a plain soft cloth is the go-to for both finishes. Leave silver dips, metal polish and abrasive cloths out of the routine.
Water, workouts & everyday wear
Caught in the rain or splashed at the sink? Gently dry your piece with a soft cloth and carry on. Before showers, swims or workouts, leave your silver or gold vermeil piece somewhere dry. Let the weights do the heavy lifting without your rings joining in.
Behind the finish
Choose the natural colour of sterling silver or the warmth of 18k gold vermeil. Our vermeil uses a 2.5-micron gold layer over sterling silver, and both finishes have a clear protective e-coating. Keep things gentle: a soft cloth, separate storage and a little distance from rough surfaces.

316L stainless steel brings strength and corrosion resistance to the everyday. Wear its natural silver-coloured finish or choose 18k gold PVD plating for a hard-wearing layer of gold colour. A quick clean now and then keeps things looking sharp.

- Rinse off soap, salt or sweat with fresh water, then pat dry with a soft cloth.
- Mild soap does the job. Leave bleach, metal polish and scouring pads to other jobs.
- Give each piece its own spot when you put it away, and take rings off before lifting weights or tackling hands-on jobs.

What is e-coating?
Think of e-coating as a clear finishing touch that helps protect our silver and gold vermeil pieces and slow tarnishing. You get the look of the metal with an extra layer looking out for it. A gentle wipe keeps the routine easy.
What is the difference between vermeil and PVD?
Gold vermeil is a thicker layer of gold plating over sterling silver. We use 2.5 microns of 18k gold. PVD stands for physical vapour deposition: a process that applies a thin, strongly bonded coating to the metal in a vacuum. It creates a highly durable finish that doesn’t need an extra protective topcoat.
Can I shower, swim or exercise in my jewellery?
For silver and gold vermeil, leave your piece somewhere dry before a shower, swim or workout. For steel and PVD designs, check the quick care tips on the product page, especially for pieces with stones or enamel. Rinse and dry suitable steel pieces after salt or sweat, and take rings off before lifting weights. Your personal best doesn’t need an imprint in your ring.
How do I clean my jewellery?
Keep it simple. E-coated silver and vermeil like a gentle wipe with a plain soft cloth. Plain steel and PVD-coated steel can have a mild-soap-and-lukewarm-water clean, followed by a rinse and dry. For stones, enamel or other details, follow the product’s care tips. No aggressive scrubbing required.
How do I keep my piece looking its best?

Which material should I choose if my skin is sensitive?
All the materials we use are hypoallergenic. We use 925 sterling silver, with or without 18k gold vermeil; 316L stainless steel; and nickel and lead free brass, with or without 18k gold PVD plating. However, if you have a known metal allergy, read the material descriptions under the piece you want to get.
